Baltimore Day

We met our friends Nick, Carolyn, and their daughter Abagail in Baltimore on Saturday. It was such a fun day! We hand some maryland crab at a nice restaurant in the Inner Harbor and then took the water taxi over to Fort McHenry. Fort McHenry is where we defended Baltimore Harbor from the British Navy in the War of 1812. It was where the flag was still flying in the morning that inspired the Star Spangled Banner. What a beautiful place to walk around. The picture above was taken on the walk up to the fort. You can see the flag and if you look closely see that the fort is star shaped.

Even if you aren't into history, it was a beautiful place to walk around and let the kids play :)

The view was breath taking and I love that they had the cannons set up
